Mastering the Pelvic Floor Workshop

Introduction

Stop reading reports. Start interpreting results. A practical workshop on deciphering pelvic floor physiology and function.

This is a one-day workstation-based intensive course that bridges the gap between diagnostic acquisition and clinical decision making for functional pelvic floor disorders.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Interpret endoanal ultrasound images: Identify sphincter defects and map complex fistulae using 2D/3D datasets.

  • Analyze High Resolution Anorectal Manometry: Interpret pressure topography and recognise common manometry patterns and types of pelvic floor dyssynergia

  • Evaluate Defecography: Understand pelvic floor anatomy and recognise multicompartmental prolapse using MRI and Fluoroscopic imaging.

  • Tailor Anorectal Biofeedback: Choose personalized therapy protocols based on clinical and manometry findings.

  • Formulate treatment and surgical plans for patients with pelvic floor disorders.
